Click here for CD liner. S.E.A.WIND is a South Florida "smooth jazz" group led by veteran multi-instrumentalist Al Shikaly. This is Al's first CD venture with plans for several more. After spending about 30 years in the music business, he has garnered a very fine reputation and has a long list of performance credits including stints with Tito Puente, Lou Rawls, The Spinners, Tavares, Henry Mancini, Burt Bacharach, Marvin Hamlisch, Maureen McGovern, and Freddie Hubbard. A graduate of the renowned Berklee School of Music, his credentials are impeccable.

There are 8 original tracks and 2 remakes both arranged by Al Shikaly. The remakes are La La(Means I Love You) and Sea of Love. Both songs feature Al on alto sax and backup vocals by Tavares and Joy Francis. Track 2 is entitled Midnight Dreams, written and produced by Al and featuring Tavares on backup vocals and Marion Meadows on soprano saxophone. The whole CD was produced in a very hi-tech home studio and was mastered by Ron Fuller of Fuller Sound in Miami.

Al is married and has a 17-year old daughter, and without their support, this project could not have taken place. Look for more to follow!!
